The ever moving bow, pronounced dynamics, true to life re-bows and enough legatos to break your teeth on.

These are real playable performances at your fingertips, (no loops) just real legatos with emotion in every bow stroke

The Prim Cello is a different sound and a different performer using a new way of sampling along with a wider dynamic spread. The Prim Cello was recorded at Virharmonic Studios in the same Studio environment as the Bohemian Cello and both are captured as dry samples. (Reverb can be decreased or switched off in the instrument to get dry samples). Both were captured using Mid Side Stereo Microphone configuration. The Tone/Timber of each instrument is unique as different Cellos and Cellists were used including capturing the performance style of each performing artist.

We have applied all that we have learned on the Bohemian Series but neither replace the other as they both have their respective uses.

The Prim Cello evolves legatos in many ways and is more dynamically and expressively flexible from feathery soft legatos to a harsher more robust tone. The dynamic spread is considerably wider in the legatos as well as more fluid bowing across the whole library with wider dynamic and more lyrical approach.

The Prim Cello includes short articulations but doesn't contain extended articulations, instead more legatos and bowing variations were captured. The Prim Cello is all about lyrical and in motion performance and it is also designed to work very well with our existing libraries as we want this to offer a new colour to paint with to our composers. This instrument evolves on Bohemian in many ways in terms of legato and bowing variety but at the cost of extended articulations which the Bohemian has, the Prim and the Bohemian are beneficial as each library will give different enough results to set them apart.

The Prim Cello pushes our Virtual Performer tech to new heights with our new Flow Motion technique. This is achieved by new sampling and programming evolutions allowing for true realism with bowing and legato advances.

With the Prim we focused our attention on the flow and motion of the performance. More emphasis is placed on legato and bowing to create truly real performances without any need to midi program.

While the Bohemian Series specialises in a broad range of techniques and styles as a jack of all trades, the Prim is more focused on 3 specific performance styles offering unparalleled realism with minimum effort.
