The Bohemian Bass is the fourth instalment in the Bohemian Series and was recorded at Virharmonic Studios in the same Studio environment as the other Bohemians and was captured as dry samples. (Reverb can be decreased or switched off in the instrument to get dry samples). Captured using Mid Side Stereo Microphone configuration.
We have captured melodic on-bow and bow-change legato to work seamlessly in musical context of the other Bohemians as well as capturing contextual re-bows that are commonly used in Double Bass performances, the re-bow timing is decided by the composer.
As there are no extended articulations in the Bass this makes it slightly different compared to its siblings, so we decided to highlight this with the addition of the name “Core” as it contains the main core foundations of the Bohemian Series, this is also reflected in its lower price.
