Important Announcement - Virharmonic is joining UJAM
Hello,
Since the founding of Virharmonic, it was important to me to have creative freedom and grounding to do crazy amazing projects like the Bohemian series that push the boundaries and I’m really excited to say that Virharmonic is entering a new stage of its development.
We are joining as a brand under the UJAM umbrella. On 29th October 2026 we signed an agreement that transfers ownership of Virharmonic’s instruments, brands and the technology behind them to UJAM Music Technology GmbH. UJAM has been a strong partner to us for many years now, supporting us during the development of our libraries and helping us to deliver you the plugins you are fond of on the Gorilla Engine platform, so it is a natural evolution that we join the Virharmonic brand under their umbrella and UJAM helps us to grow further. Virharmonic’s Virtual performer tech was born from my desire to create instruments that breathe life from the first key played while being intuitive to perform without an interruption to musical inspiration from the need to program, this exciting next step hands over the more mundane business side that takes up a lot of my time and will allow me and my team to concentrate solely on the creative aspects. On a more personal level this allows me to spend more time talent hunting for great artists to capture and also to indulge in my second passion for bee keeping.
The team will remain as is and continue developing Virharmonic products going forward, but now with even more support and know-how from UJAM, so there are a lot of good reasons to celebrate. There is already a new product commissioned under the new ownership, so please be ready to receive another Bohemian your way soon.
We would like to also take this opportunity to thank you for all your support over the years. Without your help and support it wouldn’t be possible to do the series and develop new and exciting products for you, so big thank you for sticking with us, giving us feedback, ideas, sharing info about us to your friends as well as showing us the great work that you do with our tools.
I look forward to my new role as a Creative Director at Ujam for Virharmonic libraries and I can not wait to reveal more in the coming months. There is a lot of exciting news coming your way over the next year.
